Introduction
The Additional Skill Acquisition Programme (ASAP) Kerala, a Section-8 Company under the Department of Higher Education, Government of Kerala, has been a pioneer in skill development since 2012. In 2021, it transitioned under the Companies Act, 2013 to function as a government edTech company, delivering innovative and scalable learning solutions.
With a strong presence through 16 Community Skill Parks and 126 Skill Development Centres, ASAP Kerala has positioned itself as a leader in skilling, upskilling, and reskilling initiatives. Over the years, it has successfully hosted numerous large-scale skill-based events, setting benchmarks in employability-driven training.
Challenges
-
Fragmented Event Execution: Large campaigns lacked a unified digital system to manage registrations, communications, and outcomes.
-
Scalability Concerns: Running events across a wide audience base created coordination and tracking difficulties.
-
Impact Measurement: Monitoring real-time engagement, such as views and attendance, was inconsistent.
-
Visibility & Outreach: Communicating effectively to a diverse pool of participants required a more structured approach.
Solutions Implemented
ASAP Kerala adopted the AlmaShines engagement platform to streamline its event management and bring efficiency at scale.
-
Centralized Hosting: Campaigns were hosted on a single platform with simplified registration.
-
Seamless Communication: Event notifications, reminders, and updates were shared instantly, improving reach.
-
Data Insights: Dashboards and analytics allowed tracking of registrations, views, and active attendees in real time.
